Twenty-one years behind a camera, working with brands
We've made a lot of episodes. What stays with us isn't the view counts — it's what happened to the businesses afterwards.
Who is The Video Podcast Studio?
The Video Podcast Studio is a video podcast studio at 2625 N Green Valley Pkwy, Suite 110 in Henderson, Nevada, serving the greater Las Vegas area. It was founded by Trevon Angulo, who has spent 21 years making video for brands and businesses. The studio has four recording rooms and a team of three: Trevon, studio manager Gabe, and engineer Andrew, who is in the room for every session. We're rated 5.0 on Google.
Long enough to notice which videos actually did anything.
Trevon has spent 21 years making video for brands — commercials, brand films, campaigns. Work that looked impressive, got approved by a committee, and then sat on a shelf while everyone moved on to the next quarter.
You learn something watching that happen for two decades. The videos that changed anything for a business were almost never the polished ones. They were the ones that put the right two people in a room together.
That's what this studio is built around. Not because it's a nice idea — because it's the pattern that showed up over and over, for twenty-one years, until it was impossible to ignore.
We stopped counting views a long time ago.
We've made a lot of episodes in this building. The ones we remember aren't the ones that performed — they're the ones that changed something for the person who made them.
None of those came from a big audience. They came from the right person being in the chair.
Talk to one, not the masses.
The industry measures reach — downloads, views, followers. For most businesses that's the wrong scoreboard. It counts how many people half-heard you.
Speak to one person instead — your guest, the individual across the table — and you show them you understand their problem and could probably solve it. That's what changes a relationship. Reach doesn't.
We'd rather you had thirty of the right people watching than thirty thousand of the wrong ones.
Four things we hold to
- Trust is the product
- Not video, not reach. If your guest leaves trusting you more than when they walked in, the episode worked — whatever the numbers say.
- Value before the ask
- Give first, long before you need anything. An invitation to be a guest is a gift, and it stops working the moment it's a pitch in disguise.
- People, not platforms
- Algorithms change every year. The person who remembers a good conversation still remembers it in three years, and sends someone your way.
- Show up
- Consistency beats brilliance. Most business podcasts die around episode six, and almost none of them die because the content wasn't clever enough.
Three people, and you'll meet all of them
Trevon Angulo
21 years making video for brands. Sits in on the conversations that matter, and is happiest watching a client win.
Gabe
Runs the studio and the tours. The first person most people meet here, and the reason a session feels calm rather than rushed.
Andrew
In every session, on every camera and channel. If it looks and sounds right, that's him — and you never had to think about it.
Your guest forms an opinion of you before you say a word.
When you invite someone you'd like to know to be a guest, the room they walk into is your first impression. That's the part most studios never think about, and it's where we spend our attention.
- A real building — not a warehouse in a rough part of town. Easy to find, free to park at, and nobody arrives wondering if they're in the right place.
- Everyone knows your guest's name before they walk in. It's a small thing and nobody forgets it.
- Ten-plus drink options, and someone offering. Hospitality isn't a detail — it's the difference between a shoot and a visit.
- The room is set before you arrive — lit, dialled in, nothing to wait around for.
- We treat your guest like the reason everyone showed up. As far as your relationship with them goes, they are.
Most people don't realise their old studio felt cold until they've been in this one. One client flies in from New York often enough that she rented an apartment here.
